Location:
Northern Tanzania, near the town of Moshi in the Kilimanjaro Region, about 300 km south of the equator and roughly 128 km from Arusha City.
Overview:
Kilimanjaro National Park is home to Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m) — Africa’s highest peak and the world’s tallest free-standing mountain. The park covers an area of approximately 1,688 square kilometers, protecting the mountain’s diverse ecosystems, from tropical rainforests to alpine deserts and the permanent snow-capped summit known as Uhuru Peak. Best Time to Visit:

Easily accessible by road from Arusha (about 2 hours). The nearest airport is Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), located between Moshi and Arusha.

Special Note:
